However, the balls in Tower of Goo use scaled bitmaps to look gooey, and I wanted to go a little beyond that, to make the goo really feel "juicy" and dynamic -- stretchy and squishy.  Mainly, I wanted to give the impression that mass was conserved as two balls were stretched away from each other.  Here's the result... just roll your mouse over to see the effect.
